THANK YOU TO YOU ALL
It is now 4 years since I started the company YLVAYA design and it's all you people that make me to go ahead.Thank you for kind words and your support during these years.
The first collection was with small biscuit porcelain pieces and every year these pieces are growing taller and larger. I wish in the future that I can propose several kind of design objets that are inspired from the nature.
I'm really grateful for all those lovely people that still believe in YLVAYA design.
Every piece in this collection has been carefully hand cut to ensure the sharpness of the thin lines on the edges. I use biscuit porcelain to achieve the matte appearance and textually represent the raw material. All the pieces is made in a small artisinal factory in Chaozhou where the knowledge of this trade has been maintained for over 2000 years.This is a small production where the mould need to be change often because of the thin lines on each designs.

I’m Signe Nordli Becker and I grew up in a small artic town at the top of Norway, where you see reindeers on the road with Nordic Light moving in the sky.
