My terrace and my bedroom in Paris

I have a passion for olive trees. I think I have 10 olive trees on my terrace. The oldest one is now 16 years old. I bought it just one year after I moved to Paris. In the Christmas time I decorate the olive trees with clear Christmas garlands to give an enchanting, frosty feeling. As you all know it is seldom icy and snowy in Paris and through these garlands I get the wintertime feelings of my home in Norway. The terrace is our second living room from the early spring to the late autumn. Here we have a lot of space and can invite our friends over for a late dinner.I love the greens, nature and white mix together. Animal head with green moisture and bench found in antic market in Paris. The succulent plant is coming from a holiday in Corsica.

The reindeer horn that has a lot of moss on it was found by my husband in the Tundra in my hometown in North of Norway.

My bedroom is a beautiful mix of light celadon colours with whites and greens from olive trees.

The plaid on the bed is from a village in Pakistan. This lovely plaid is a unique piece that is hand embroidered. The shoes I bought in Karasjok in North of Norway. The hand embroided pillow patterned with branches is designed by myself.
The small wood tablesnow more mossy then brown, where found in antique market in Paris.
