Exhibition Christian Dior ,"the designer of dreams"

"Paris c'est la couture.La Couture c'est Paris"

It was amazing moment for me to see the exhibition of Christian Dior ,showing the fashion's legendary verve and spirit.You can see more than 300 stunning dresses, together with sketches ,reportages,photos and letters dating from 1947 to the present day,which are showed in a spectacular way.In one room you have the feeling that you are in a white fairytale garden ,in another room your are standing in the middle of the catwalk.

For Christian Dior ,all flowers were imbued of nostalgie scent of his childhood garden.Christian Dior liked to draw his collection's in the middle of his garden,surrounded with flowers.When he became a couturier,flowers provided him with the vision behind his New Look and his flower woman.Dior died in 1957 but Marc Bohan,Gianfranco Ferré and Galliano,all keen gardeners too ,often adorned their collection's with pastoral embroderies.

Christian Dior constructed his dresses based on his observation of female body and a desire to idealize it's proportions.He created each design keeping in mind both it's structure and effect it's mouvements would produce once on a body.See it by yourself....
